Horsehead & Flame Nebulae

Two iconic dark-nebula targets in one frame. The Horsehead is a molecular cloud silhouetted against the pink Ha emission of IC 434. The Flame on the left gets its dark lane from a wall of dust blocking the stellar radiation behind it.
